HERE IT IS! THE SAGA OF THE MISSING FINGERS.........IN PRINT!
Over the years since the first presentations of my mysteries, I've
been approached with the idea of writing them as a series for young
adults. Recently, a writer saw a production and approached me with
an offer to contact her agent, feeling that the mysteries would
make a contribution in the world of young adult mystery literature.
For the first time, the idea became tangible for me and I began
to ask the children for whom I did parties whether they would be
interested in buying the mystery in book form.
There has been unanimous assent and interest, leading me to believe
that the market for my 'SAGAS' (remember, I began presenting these
in 1993, I do about 80 a year, with an average group of between
15 and 25 children at each event) is rather wide.
I am now embarked on an exciting journey of fleshing out the characters,
circumstances, scenes, seasons, motives and alibis in this heretofore
relatively improvisational world I and the children who dramatized
my mysteries have created together. Three agents have shown interest
in the material, and, although I am leaning toward one who feels
the best fit, I am open to meeting with others.
Thanks to all of you parents who have spread such positive word
of mouth about my parties, and thanks especially to all the kids
who have enriched my and my assistants lives by bringing my imaginary
world to life for so many years.
